I have chosen to do the Macmillan Children's book prize as my first project. I chose this competition because children's book illustration is something i hope to do in the future and develop into a career so by doing this competition i will be developing my skills in the area and gaining experience in what i want to do when i leave college.
The brief for 2014 has not been published yet but it is usually kept the same as previous years so i used last years brief for my project.
